Air China Cargo

Headquartered in Beijing, Air China Cargo Co., Ltd. (Air China Cargo) takes Shanghai as its main air freighter operation base and is China's only cargo airline operating with the national flag.

Air China Cargo was founded on December 12, 2003. On March 18, 2011, Air China Limited (Air China) and Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (Cathay Pacific) completed a joint venture freight project with Air China Cargo as the platform. The joint venture has a registered capital of 3.235 billion yuan and over 4,200 employees, with Air China's Chinese and English names as well as its logo unchanged.

Air China Cargo had owned three B747-400 air freighters by January 2015, and has ordered eight B777F air freighters from Boeing. The new air freighters are scheduled to be delivered to Air China Cargo from December 2013 to 2015 and five have been delivered. Also, Air China Cargo has introduced four B757-200SF air freighters, and put into operation as chartered planes for mail transport. Besides, Air China Cargo exclusively operates all airliner bellyhold of Air China.
